Canada – new entry requirements

Canada introduced a new entry requirement, known as an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), that applies to all visa-exempt foreign nationals travelling to or transition Canada by air.

Effective 10 November 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals must have an eTA before they can board a flight to Canada. If you need help please get in touch with us or visit  Canada.ca/eTA for further information.

Not affected by this are U.S. citizens, travellers who are not eligible for a visa-exemption, or travellers who do carry a valid Canadian visa.
