On this day in history, the Internet was born

47 years ago, a connection between two computers changed everything…

On Nov. 21, 1969, researchers from the U.S. Department of Defense’s Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) put the first link into service, connecting computers at UCLA and Stanford Research Institute. The link was part of the Internet’s ancient ancestor, ARPANET, an early computer network developed by DARPA to connect military and government organizations.

Just Imagine how the internet has changed through the time, by birth of World wide web and later introduction of social media used by hundreds of millions of users. Nowadays you see millennials and modern digital nomads asking where the find Wifi to connect to the Internet.
