Lost your boarding pass? This is what happens…

Every passenger who wants to board a plane has to show his boarding pass. But what happens if you lose it on the way to the gate or your mobile (cell) phone with the digital boarding pass on it goes belly-up? Ok, this is what you have to do if you want to fly – it is very simple…

…as soon as you realize that you can’t find your boarding pass anymore just go immediately to your airline’s closest service counter. The airline has to replace it or will board you manually. It has no choice other than to let you fly as the contract for carriage is still valid. Important – make sure you are on time when boarding starts!

Ah yes, most of the time the replacement is free of charge, but there are exceptions. Ryanair for example will make you pay 15 Euros.
